Finding the perfect hospitality job for you may not always be easy, but it is well worth putting in the effort to find the right role that will help take your hospitality career forward.
To boost your chances, it's vital that you make any experience you have in the sector count. Firstly, this means creating the best CV you can. The fact is, when you see a job you like, many other people will also have spotted the vacancy and you so you will almost certainly face stiff competition. If your CV isn't spot on, you will struggle to get noticed at all and may well fall at the first hurdle.
As well as being presented effectively, your CV must show that you have the skills and ability to perform the particular roles you are applying for.
If you get this stage right and are invited to attend an interview, you must then be able to demonstrate to your potential employer that you are the right candidate and being able to articulate examples of what you have achieved in the past is a good way to do this. Showing your interviewers that you know how to deal with the situations you would face in the roles they are recruiting can instil them with confidence in you and show them you have
the relevant skills required for the job.
